Ninna-ji Temple. It has a huge Gate, Tower and “Omuro Sakura.”

The cherry tree of Ninna-ji is very special.
It is famous for its late bloom, which is short and has large petals, and is called “Omuro Sakura”.
Originally it should be late, but this seems to be premature this year and now it is in full bloom. Somehow we will have it until the end of this week. Enjoy the slowest cherry blossoms in Kyoto.

The cherry blossom garden is not in the main hall, which was formerly the Imperial Palace, but in the back of the red gate in the precincts.

Daikaku-ji Temple, Osawa-no-ike(Pond) with Sakura.

In the 8th century, Daikakuji was originally built as the Imperial Palace.
Therefore, the appearance is still elegant and it is more like the Imperial Palace rather than a temple.
The wonderful cherry blossoms are around the pond called “Osawa-no-ike.”
This time we will take a walk through that Osawa-no-ike.
